hello!

when a filter is found:

- dont display the "Downloads" window
- automatically close the empty tab left after the download has initialized
- automatically rename if file is found
- automatically append download timestamp to filename

can these be done? how?

- dont display the "Downloads" window
Which download window?

If you are talking about the one saying "what firefox should do with this file?"
That window is needed for single click download, but you can choose to "auto-close it".
You can bypass it when using right-click download, but some filter may not work.

If you are talking about the File explorer:
Depending on the version you are using, it's named differently (but it's at the same location in the preferences).
Option > Page 1 > file explorer:
up to 1.0.4: it's using Firefox settings. You can choose to "not show the file explorer" and save to the folder "set by the filter".
in 1.0.5 beta: it's now not using Firefox settings anymore. You need to select the behavior in ASF settings : Save to "Set by the filter", do not select "always ask where to save".

- automatically close the empty tab left after the download has initialized
I can't do that. After the download (and even Before you accept the download), ASF has ended his work and is no more in memory. There's no script left to see when the download is initialized/completed.
Firefox should already close some empty tabs automatically when a download is initialized. If not, there's an addon doing it. (I don't remember its name).

- automatically rename if file is found
It already exists if you are using the setting to "don't show the file explorer" or "save to..."
it lets you rename the file manually only if you are using "Always ask where to save".

- automatically append download timestamp to filename
Renaming filename can be done only with right-click download, not left-click.
I didn't find how to add this function to both saving method, so I decided to not include it at all to not have different behavior for the same filters.

I will add file renaming tags if/when I find a way to rename filename in single-click mode.
