Hi one thing which would be nice to change is to make it so the size of the ASF extension preference box is re-sizable. I am on a mac and some of the text runs past the edge but i can't resize the box to be able to see it.

Other than that I am wondering if it is at all possible to completely automate this so that all I do is click a download link and I get zero popups to save or continue, have everything run in the background and always correctly save my file to the right location. Also is there any way to have this save where I want it as well as use the option to have it open with a certain program after downloading?

I have some trouble specifically with a torrent site where i have to left click a link which goes somewhere and creates my torrent file (ie it is not a direct link the torrent so i can't just right click save as.)

I am just trying to streamline my whole process and this is certainly helping me out.

Thanks for making this!

Hi,

The preference box can be resized if you open the preferences from Firefox tools menu (don't use the add-on manager menu to open the preferences, the manager never give the ability to resize).

There's currently no way to by-pass the saving window when using single click.
But you can select the option to automatically accept this save dialog, and don't show the file explorer.
That way, you will only have to click a link, there will be a short popup showing and closing automatically, and the file will be saved to the correct folder.
select these preference : automatically accept the save dialog and Force the radio choice to Save File

No, ASF can't save at a specified place and launch a program after the download is finish. ASF can only change the save path "before" Firefox save/run the file.
But if you want to launch it instead of saving, you can select "force the radio choice" to "open with" instead "save file". it will only run the file without saving it to the filtered folder.
Though, for the moment it's only a global option, it will run all your downloads, regardless the filetype.
Later, I'll create the ability to set it individually for each filters.
Sorry I don't have a lot of time to work on it.

Yes, you can use the latest beta, it's available here, in the download page.
